That is what He allowed us to do the last week of July 2010, as we were allowed to feed His sheep. I was honored to join a team of eighteen who accepted the call to Indonesia; to conduct clinics as Sight Ministries International continued its support of Pondok Kasih (http://pondokkasih.org/) in the city of Surabaya on Southern Java. God provided support of four clinics; allowing us to minister to those in need of functional sight; to allow them a means to clearly see the wonders of His world and His Word.

Our team ministered to around 2,000 people, distributing approximately 3,000 pairs of glasses, a combination of prescription, reading, and sun glasses. One day alone He placed over 1,000 needy beings in our care, allowing us to minister to their sight and their soul through the love of His Son in us. In addition, God ministered to our needs through the hearts, minds, and souls of those He placed in our path, as well as to each other. Sharing a God centered experience with brothers and sisters in Christ, and especially watching His work through the young people in our group was truly a spiritual event! I pray that He touches your heart, mind, and soul, as you read this message, to join a Sight Ministries team as they travel to other areas of God’s creation.

I pray that He will allow me the honor of returning to Surabaya. I pray also that He will encourage you to go as well; to join our brothers and sisters around the world in fulfilling the Great Commission, as indicated in Matthew 28:
